WELCOME

Ours is a region rich in potential. The challenge? Making sure that local people and businesses are equipped with the information, skills and support they need to make the most of new economic opportunity. By providing key strategic agencies with the opportunity and support to work more cohesively and creatively, and by aligning the needs of employers, employees and local communities, the Employment & Skills Board aims to achieve just that.

Within our web site, you’ll find useful information about the Board and our work and, perhaps, inspiration to get involved. It’s all about working better together, so if there’s something you’d like to see here or have comments about the site or its content we’d love to hear from you.

Equally if you are a employer in North Derbyshire or North Nottinghamshire and would like to find out more about how to influence employment and skills locally, please get in touch.
